ALTBalaji has been seen creating a lot of family-oriented dramas as of late. Several new series have been released by the platform and is also receiving huge response from the followers and viewers. Likewise, one more romantic comedy series, Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala, has been making rounds of applause among the audiences by living up to its expectations and becoming an extensively watched show.
As we know, the Season 1 had a cliffhanger ending and yet a lot has to transpire in the lives of Nitya and Vikram, we can soon expect Season 2 to stream on the platform. And to add more to it, recent reports have also said, “The decision has been taken to commence work on Coldd Lassi aur Chicken Masala Season 2. For now, the script-level work is in process.” The makers said you will watch Season 2 of Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala in 2020.
Divyanka Tripathi and Rajeev Khandelwal are playing the lead roles as Nitya and Vikram. The chemistry between these two has the enthralling along with their chef avatars adding more flavors of this culinary-based show. The title itself signifies the conflicting characters of the leading role –the cool Vikram and the hot-headed Nitya. The series is produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Pradeep Sarkar.
Relationships are a bit tricky. And, at times, even with the finest of relationships experience barriers. In this series, the marriage of Vikram and Nitya ends of bitter note getting them divorced owing to a misunderstanding and subsequent betrayal. Coldd Lassi swoops between Mumbai and Bhopal as it follows Nitya and Vikram over two time periods.
The memory track shows the blooming romance and love between the two as they exchange glimpses and recipes at a culinary school. While, in the present, Vikram is a globally renowned chef and Nitya is a single mother whose talents have been restricted to a Mumbai restaurant. And after 8 years, Vikram purchases a restaurant where Nitya works as head chef.
