Amazon Prime Mumbai Diaries Season 2 is Confirmed

It was formally announced on April 28th as part of Amazon Prime Video’s See Where It Takes You promotion that Mumbai Diaries season 2 is now in the works.

“The committed team of doctors is back, but a new task awaits,” the streaming site captioned the news. In Mumbai Diaries, there will be a new chapter soon.

It’s great news for Mumbai Diaries fans to hear that the first season has been renewed, but renewal murmurs have been swirling online since the show’s premiere on September 9th, 2021.

Mumbai Diaries Season 2 was already approved by Amazon Prime Video before the show premiered, according to the early reports on the internet. “The writing team is already working [on the second season] and we also have a script in place” by September 10th, 2021, according to the show’s creator Nikhil Advani.

Popular streaming news site LetsOTT Global spread the rumor, claiming that the second season of Mumbai Diaries was already in the works prior to the show’s release on November 26th.

Retiring cast members such as Prakash Belawadi and Prakash Sen Sharma will also come back for season two of the show, which was just renewed for a second season.

Mumbai Diaries Season 2 Release Date

The Mumbai Diaries Season 2 writing team is already working on a script and according to the show’s creator Nikhil Advani Mumbai Diaries Season 2 will release at the end of 2022.
