Transparent Musicale Finale Is Jeffrey Tambor Present?
The answer is negative. Tambor was removed from the series in February last year following an internal probe into sexual harassment allegations made against him.
In 2017, Trace Lyssette (Transparent guest star) and Van Barnes (former assistant of Tambor) blamed the actor of sexual misconduct, claims which Tambor later refused. He then recommended that he might not be coming back to the web series.
In an interview, Soloway claimed that the move was made to “make sure the workplace respects the dignity and safety of every person on the series.”
Tambor refused all allegations and claimed that he was “deeply disappointed” in the manner the show’s creator and the production studio dealt with the situation.
“As I have stated consistently, I deeply feel sorry if any action of mine was ever misunderstood by anybody and I will carry on to strongly defend myself,” he claimed to the media in an interview. “I also deeply feel sorry that this ground-breaking web series, which altered so many people, is now in danger. That, to me, is the largest heartbreaks of all.”
The character played by Tambor, a transgender female named Maura (earlier the patriarch of the Pfefferman family) has been killed off before the episode, which will see the family dealing with her demise.
