With the first season of Bard of Blood receiving mixed reviews, it is likely to make a comeback with the second season. The Netflix web series is produced by Shah Rukh Khan-headed Red Chillies Entertainment with the directorial being handled by Ribhu Dasgupta. The web series was aired on 27 September 2019 on Netflix with 7 episodes streamed at once.
Netflix Bard of Blood Story
A spy thriller web series, Bard of Blood has derived its origin from a novel written by Bilal Siddiqi of the same name. The story of the series revolves around Kabir Anand (portrayed by Emraan Hashmi), an ex-member of the RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). With on-field identity as Adonis, Kabir was impelled to depart as an operation had gone radically south.
However, after a period of teaching at high school, he is pulled back into the skirmish, tasked with salvaging four Indian agents who were on an operation to transmit back significant info to their government, but were seized by the Taliban in Balochistan and are being held captive. And here begins his rescue mission while fighting the flashbacks of the previous failed mission.

There are several likelihoods about the second season’s story with Anand most probably commencing on a new operation and harmonizing his life as a professor with an intelligence operative.
