Stargirl is not a name that DC comic fans would need an introduction for. The series is based on DC comics and follows an inspirational journey of Courtney Whitmore, who leads a whole new generation of superheroes. The series starts out with Justice Society of America, an organization that had been wiped of Injustice Society in a bloody battle.

DC Universe Stargirl Series Plot
In the pilot episode of Stargirl, the Justice Society of America (JSA) comes under a brutal attack by the Injustice Society. This results in the annihilation of the JSA, which is a bloody-blow to Starman, the original JSA hero, and his side-kick, Pat Dugan. The battle ends with Starman, requesting Pat to safely keep his cosmic staff. Now, we have not given out any spoilers – this is just the backstory of the serial. The real story of Stargirl starts soon after as Pat marries the mother of Whitney Whitmore.
Stargirl, features both the logos of Warner Brothers, and DC comics, as the staff bursts into stars, and makes way some amazing spectacles. Do keep an eye out!

This show matches the hype of superhero movies with the makers of DC comics behind this action. It is also unique in its storyline as it features teenagers in taking on the world, often escaping the attention of adults in the process.
The cinematography and action scenes are a spectacle for super-hero moviegoers. Moreover, if you are hoping for a kick-ass perspective on what teenage life can be – definitely don’t miss out on Stargirl. Also, if you like spontaneous journeys of teenagers getting mixed up in the superhero business, and jeopardizing the world with their inquisitive quests, you should not miss out on the pilot episode.
