After the successful season 1 of OTT platform Netflix’s web series ‘Delhi Crime’, its makers are preparing to launch the season 2 of the series. For this series, the actors have started preparing themselves to fit themselves in the character. Actress Rasika Duggal, who plays probationary IPS Niti Singh in the season 1 of Delhi Crime, says that the season 2 of the series is going to be even more overwhelming than the first.
According to information received from sources, IPS Niti Singh will be seen as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) this season. Rasika is working very hard to do her character perfectly. He told that she goes to Chandigarh Police Station to prepare her character. Not only this, but he has also spent a lot of time with the ACP of the city so that he can know about his duties and how to work.
Describing the process of her preparations, Rasika says, “I came to know about my reality by spending one day in the police station. This was enough to remind me of how fragile the conditions we live in. Staying with the police officers, I got to know their work and studied their modalities closely. Rasika further said that she is doing this character again, so excited about it, she is also serious. She says, “It is like me meeting an old friend again.”I know the basics of this character, but there is still a lot to learn.
Let me tell you that season 2 of this series is based on the most talked-about case of Delhi, the rape and murder of Nirbhaya. It has received worldwide acclaim, with actress Shefali Shah in the lead cast presenting the most compelling performance. Now the season 2 of this series will cover any other criminal incident in Delhi.
