Voot will be soon coming up with a courtroom drama show, emphasizing on roles of media and politics in corruption crime and running the nation: Illegal. The series is written by Reshu Nath, directed by Sahir Raza, and produced by Sameer Khan.

As depicted by the trailer, the show seems to be bringing the protagonist’s struggles in her battle for justice to the limelight. Niharika (essayed by Neha Sharma) is also named “mad lawyer” owing to the unusual tactics applied by her for winning a case in the past.

Notwithstanding her objections, she is handled the case to protect a rapist as it is deemed capable of winning the case in the media as well as law courts. On this legal ride, one can witness significant questions raised on topics such as capital punishment and the hypothetical unprejudiced law supporting the privileged.

The web series, earlier titled “Law and Honor,” is supposed to be depicting the two sides of lawmakers and law. On one side, there are honest lawyers who are ready to put their lives at stake in their battle for justice and reinstate belief in humanity. And on the other side, there are lawyers who are nothing more than mercenaries, who are appointed to just win the case even if it means to disobey the law and order.
