Inside Edge Season 2 Release Date, Cast & Trailer

In April 2019, Amazon Prime Video declared Inside Edge season 2, its Amazon Prime Original series. Season 1 was created by Karan Anshuman and featured a pacy story that gave us a peek into the world of entertainment and cricket.

Inside Edge Season 2 marks one more original creation between Excel Media & Entertainment and Amazon Prime Video after the first season as well as Made in Heaven and Mirzapur.

Director at Amazon Prime Video India for Content, Vijay Subramaniam, claimed to the media in an interview, “We are eager to declare an all-new season of first Indian Prime Original series by Amazon, Inside Edge. Season 1 of Inside Edge got a very positive response. We are pleased to collaborate with Excel Media & Entertainment one more time on the second season of Inside Edge.”

Excel Media & Entertainment’s Farhan Akhtar claimed to the media in an interview, “We are both proud and excited to officially verify season 2 of Inside Edge. Additional details of the series will follow soon!”

Inside Edge Season 2 Release Date

Excel Media & Entertainment’s Riteish Sidhwani claimed to the media in an interview, “We have had a successful association with Amazon Prime Video, beginning with the first Original of Amazon, Inside Edge that was successful hugely. We are happy for the commencement of the second season of Inside Edge and are seeing forward to our association with Amazon yet again in bringing the next season to the streaming platform.”

Season 1 of Inside Edge concluded with cliffhangers leaving the fans assuming the fate of a number of characters. Various questions were lifted by the conclusion of the season such as Will Arvind Vashisth join Handa’s team and leave Mumbai Mavericks? Does Vikrant stay alive after the final blow? What happens to Prashanth Kanaujia post the lethal gunshot fired by him? And the most important question of them all—who is Bhaisahab? Season 2 will answer all these unanswered questions for viewers all over the world.

A promotional clip for the second season of Inside Edge was rolled out by Amazon earlier. Inside Edge features Richa Chadha, Angad Bedi, Vivek Oberoi, Sanjay Suri, Tanuj Virwani, Sarah-Jane Dias, Sayani Gupta, and Siddhant Chaturvedi among others.

No launch date for the second season of Inside Edge has been declared yet by Amazon Prime. As per Vivek Oberoi, shooting for the second season ended in November last year. Hence, we are likely to witness the series soon. All of the major characters are anticipated to make a comeback for the second season. The promo video shows a plethora of the characters claiming that “he is back,” pointing to none other than Bhaisahab.

A plot synopsis for the second season has not been disclosed, but the forthcoming series will have to shed light on some mysteries from the earlier one. The series will have to expose as to who the mysterious Bhaisahab is and what significance he will have in the second season.

So much excitement and mystery!!!! Can’t wait for Inside Edge 2 to launch…
