Netflix Bard Of Blood Web Series
Emraan Hashmi, the Indian Actor, is all set to make his digital entry with Bard of Blood, the Netflix series. He earlier shared the release date of the show and the first motion poster. Co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan, the series is based on Bilal Siddiqi’s (the debutant author) book by the same moniker and will feature the worldwide terrorism.
Apart from Emraan in the lead, the major cast comprises Shashank Arora, Amyra Dastur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kirti Kulhari, Jaideep Ahlawat, Vineet Kumar Singh, Danish Hussain, Suhail Nayyar, Akshat R Chopra, Amit Bimrot, and Ajay Mahendru.
It will supposedly have 8 episodes that will feature the journey of Kabir Anand, a former spy, who is summoned from his new life in Panchgani as a Shakespeare professor to save his long-lost love and country. A mixture of intellectual background, combat skills, and personal circumstances push Kabir to even the score of the past and deal with his deadliest opponents in a battle against time. Set against the background of the Indian subcontinent, the multilingual web show will comprise “highly stylized, intricate action scenes never before witnessed on Indian screen,” as per a media report.
Bilal and Emraan had previously shared images in Leh from the sets of the show. Emraan had tagged the post on Instagram, “What the HILL!!! #leh #BardOfBlood.”
Before to Bard of Blood, Netflix has the second season of Sacred Games and Sujoy Ghosh’s Typewriter in the queue.
Here’s the official summary of the web series: The story is about 4 intelligence officers of India who are compromised before they can pass on an important piece of information to the nation. These officers belong to the Indian Intelligence Wing. They get caught and are about to be decapitated. The chances are high.
Sadiq Sheikh, the Intelligence veteran and the handler of the captured agents, understands he must lead a clandestine mission to get his men out. He reaches out to Hashmi (playing the role of Kabir Anand), a former spy and a Shakespeare professor—a man who understands the politics and terrain of Balochistan back to front. Kabir must link the dots from the cryptic data that he has in his hands. The only way for Kabir to solve the mystery is to embark upon a dangerous mission and end unfinished business.
The launch date of the web series is still not known. But sources say that the series will be launched later this year. Hope to see the series as soon as possible.
