The trailer of Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai has been released. This next Netflix India film, directed by Anurag Kashyap, a 2-minute trailer of the film has been revealed. The story of the film is of a 30-year-old middle-class woman, Sarita (Sayami Khair), who works as a cashier in a bank. However, the most interesting part of this film is revealed in the trailer and that is ‘Notebandi’. Yes, ‘Demonetisation’ done by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in 2016 has finally been made a part of the film.
The trailer first depicts the financial condition of Sarita’s family and then a sudden change of fortunes. But shortly after, PM Narendra Modi’s address to the nation at 8 pm. In which he is talking about banning old 500 and 1000 rupee notes. How all these events change the life of ordinary Sarita, the film’s story revolves around this.
The trailer of the Netflix film Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai begins with a few people dragging the bundles of notes into polythene drains. This money reaches Sarita’s house through the drain. Sarita sees money coming out of the sink of her house one night. Sarita’s life changes with this incident, but what she knew is that a big event is waiting for her. Then there is an entry in the story of demonetization, which proves to be the most important turning point of this story. Where Sarita’s Neighborhood Dialogue is given, “Note of 500, Note of 1000”.
