Recently, Amazon Prime Video premiered Paatal Lok, one of the most-awaited neo-noir web series, on its platform. The dark crime thriller web series, created by Sudip Sharma, has gathered a lot of accolade and appreciations from the viewers as we well the critics for the plot, the thriller part, and the performances of the actors. And now, we can expect a season 2 ought to be up on the cards.
The official cast of season 2 is yet to be disclosed but we can expect the majority of the cast to reprise their roles from season 1.
Paatal Lok Season 1 was about Hathi Ram Chaudhary, a wasted cop from Delhi. His life and career are quite ordinary, with no major goal. But things are soon going to change for him as he lands himself into a high profile case that appears to be very significant and will have an inevitable influence on his career. As he carries out the investigation, he understands that things are very risky, and with networks to the underworld, the case’s importance increases exponentially. The plot trails the cop as he resolves the case during which he revives his ambitions along with the responsibilities as a cop.
The season 1 finale dropped the curtains on a conclusive note. However, rumors have it that if season 2 is in the making then it may plot a new story. There is a possibility that Hathi Ram Chaudhary will be challenged with a bigger case having much more intensity than the season 1 case. Though it will be worth watching what season 2 will have in for us.
