Netflix Penthouse Web Series Release Date, Sharman Joshi Starrer

Sharman Joshi is one of the actors who is loved for his excellent performances in films like 3 Idiots, Style, Golmaal, Mission Mangal, and others. Lately, the actor has been ruling the digital world with yet another marvelous and highly appreciated performance in the romantic-drama of Ekta Kapoor Baarish. Not so long ago, Sharman and Asha Negi, were seen endorsing their show Baarish 2 on social media alongside Jeetendra.

The show went on air on May 6, 2020, on OTT platforms and has been gathering loads of applause and appreciation from the critics and audience alike. And here comes one more good news for Sharman’s fans as his new partnership has begun making rounds in the digital world. Reportedly, Joshi has inked yet another project with Netflix and is to be directed by the renowned director pair Abbas-Mustan.

Sharman will be a part of their forthcoming psychological thriller named Penthouse that will be solely premiered on Netflix. A resource disclosed the update to an online portal saying the directors Abbas-Mustan Burmawala are making a comeback with the genre that they are well-renowned for as they have signed Sharman Joshi in the lead role in their forthcoming venture with Netflix. The resource also divulged that show’s filming was deemed to begin this year in April’s first week, but on account of the countrywide lockdown, the shoot has been on the back burner.

The penthouse will mark the digital debut of Abbas-Mustan, whose last directed film was Machine in 2017. The movie introduced Mustafa Burmawala, the son of Abbas Burmawala, in the Hindi Film industry together with Kiara Advani. Unfortunately, the romantic-thriller didn’t turn up well at the box office as it failed to make an impression on the audiences and film critics.
