If you are a movie buff, and in love with filmmaking, here is a name you should remember – Tigmanshu Dhulia. He was the director of the famous Paan Singh Tomar, which won the national award in 2012. Moreover, not many know that he was also the writer of Dil Se, the famous Shahrukh Khan movie released in 1998. Now, Tigmanshu is back on the big screen with Yaara, a true tale of friendship is set to premiere on Zee5 soon.
Zee5 Yaara is a story from the heartland of North India and revolves around four friends, who are fearless, and notorious for their criminal activities. During their youthful friendship, they undergo many challenges as they continue their journey in the criminal world, which often puts their friendship under tremendous strains, and witnesses rise and fall like few others. According to Amit Sadh, one of the lead characters in the film, Yaara is a beautiful story of friendship because the main characters are free-spirited, and capture the true essence, outlook, and meaning of true friendship. He believes that their portrayal captures the great, and natural bond between friends on screen.
The Zee5 Yaara trailer released on YouTube on the 2nd of July, 2020. It has managed to capture the fancy of the audience with over 200k views, and nearly 10k likes.
The film will likely be a major hit online as it captures some of the best direction on offer in Bollywood, some amazing acting, and a trailer that surely does justice to the hype. Having said that, the first written dialogue in the trailer isn’t as impressive as it could be. However, the makeup and free-spirited acting more than makeup for the bearable mistake in writing. As per the official Zee5 announcement, the movie will release on the 30th of July. The good news for fans is, due to the on-going lockdowns, the film will directly release on the Zee5 streaming platform. The move to the theatres may have stopped many from enjoying the premiere of the film in its early launch.
