The Zee5 Ishq Aaj Kal romantic drama featuring Angad Hasija, Ankitta Sharma, and Paras Kalnawat, is back with its season 3. The last time viewers heard was that the team has already begun shooting for the third season. Now, Zee5 has lastly launched the first trailer for the web series.

Ankitta plays the role of Aaliya Jaffri, the cousin of Ishq Subhan Allah’s Kabeer Ahmed. She sets out on a quest to find her dad and know the truth about her mom’s murder. Her voyage leads her to an internship in Shimla at a hotel managed by Arshad Ali Khan. Paras (Faraaz Sheikh), Roshmi Banik (Munmun), and Shagun Jaswal (Amaira Khan) are her fellow interns; all of them struggle to land a job at the Mumbai hotel owned by Arshad. During her Shimla stay, Aaliya reveals various layers of the truth of her family. On the other hand, everybody she meets with has their own mission, comprising Munmun, Faraaz, and Amaira.

By the conclusion of the second season, Aaliya is on her way to Mumbai after attaining a job in the hotel. On the other hand, she gets incorrectly blamed for being comprised of a drug scandal. But she walks scot-free after a mystery man comes to her rescue. Faraaz, in spite of not being selected, is provided a job by Kavita Ghai (Naaz) at the hotel.
